Initially employed by a temporary agency, I started at Seeberger in the shipping department about 7 years ago on the recommendation of a good friend. Based on my performance, I was quickly taken on permanently. 4 years later, however, I took a slight detour to get to know another company and changed employer. There I quickly realised that the working environment at Seeberger is something very special and that I miss my former colleagues and the team spirit so much that I returned after only a few months. In the meantime, I work in maintenance, where my manual skills are always in demand. That's where I've found my calling, and that's why I'm even going to start another apprenticeship next summer: as an industrial mechanic at Seeberger. I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to further expanding my expertise and skills. It's just nice to see how the company is constantly evolving and how everyone is offered the opportunity for personal growth.
I have never regretted the decision to start my professional future with an apprenticeship as an industrial management assistant at Seeberger. Immediately after successfully completing my studies, I was hired as a permanent employee in the "Export Sales" department and 2 years later I became a team leader. The flexibility of the 37.5-hour week and the flexitime arrangement allow me to optimally balance work and leisure time for a good work-life balance. I was also very supported in my part-time training as an industrial business administrator at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. With the range of benefits and additional services, such as subsidies for fitness offers, the overall package is simply right for me.
It was already clear to me during my school years that I wanted to gain practical work experience after graduating from high school. But where? Since my older sister had already successfully completed her apprenticeship at Seeberger and was enthusiastic, it quickly became clear to me that Seeberger was the perfect place for me! In the meantime, I have completed almost half of my 2.5-year apprenticeship as an industrial management assistant and have already passed through a wide variety of departments. After order processing and internal sales, I have been in logistics for some time now and can actively support the team with everything they need to meet the delivery deadlines on time. The direction in which I want to go after my apprenticeship will become clear when I get to know other departments. But one thing is for sure: I am in very good hands with Seeberger and I want to continue to do my bit here even after my training.
Until I applied to Seeberger, my return to work after parental leave unfortunately turned out to be more difficult than expected. My desire for part-time employment was a dealbreaker for my previous employer as well as for most other companies, despite my good qualifications. At Seeberger, on the other hand, there was no debate about it, quite the opposite! For 2 years now, I have been working part-time in marketing, where I am responsible for event planning, trade fair organisation and public relations, among other things. I appreciate the variety and personal responsibility that this job brings with it and am still enthusiastic about the family-friendly orientation of the company. And to help bridge gaps in childcare, it is possible, for example, to bring children to the office, where there is a separate playroom. Truly an enormous relief for working parents. This understanding of the needs of employees makes Seeberger a special employer for me.
After my apprenticeship as a car mechanic, I applied in response to a job advertisement from Seeberger and started working in separation technology. After gaining basic experience there, I first switched to shipping and now work in the warehouse – for me, it's the area of responsibility with the amount of variety I want. That's why I know from my own experience how much emphasis is placed here at Seeberger on taking into account the individual wishes of our employees when choosing their jobs and promoting their own strengths. From the very beginning, I really liked the wide range of professional opportunities in the company, and even 16 years later, the support from the company motivates me to continue working on my professional development. I am proud to be part of the Seeberger family and excited to see where the numerous training opportunities will take me.
I have been working for Seeberger in Schalksmühle for over 10 years. The team spirit and open communication made the company special for me right from the start. Even at the first meeting at a get-to-know-you day at the SIHK, the noticeable relaxed atmosphere was pivotal in my decision to apply there as a trainee as a machine and plant operator. In the meantime, I am employed as a team leader in separation technology and even after all these years I can say with a clear conscience: The willingness to help is brilliant, the team works together in an open and friendly manner and the flat hierarchies in particular are a real plus.
